Which anti-spyware solution

Hi, I have been looking around at all the anti-spyware products available and I am a bit confused .  Which is the best one to use?  Do they all do the same thing?

Spyware Doctor and Counterspy are the best on the market IMO (In my opinion) Although sadly these are not free 

Free Alternatives are:
Ad-Aware Personal SE
Spybot Search and Destroy
MS Anti-Spyware

Personally these are all great although Spyware Doctor is the best IMO although (free trial available from download.com) I also use Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D.

They tend to do the same thing although the amount of spyware out there is huge! which leads to needing more than one as different Anti-Spyware utilities find different things.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I am going to stick with MS Antispyware for the time being and see how it gets on.

You should have more than one anti-spyware utility as one cannot find all of them  Get Ad-Aware SE- it is my personal favourite.

You can download ad-aware SE from: Lavasoft

I would recommend purchasing the PRO version as it features extra features such as Ad-Watch.
